Starting the New Year with a Smile!

Here are some photo's of Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma Putnam. She has quite the sense of humor I must say. Let's learn a thing or two this year from her.

Wishing You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Flexing for Uncle Joe

Hey Uncle Dee... I'm putting on my Seat Belt!

Burning Rubber

Gift from Santa

Lucas has had a few challenges this year at pre-school being "NICE". He's good most of the time but NAP TIME just isn't his thing! We'll... because he's good most of the time, Santa decided to not miss him totally this Christmas and instead gave his Gift to Luke's Mom, Megan to let him use when he's good all day long... As you can see... Santa's tactics seem to have worked. He's gotten to ride it a couple of times now...

Just for Laughs!

Today Nana (that's me... Grandma Karen Marzo) took Lucas to McDonalds for Lunch and to play on the "Play Land" more for the "playland"... anyway... I asked the clerk if I could have a kiddie cone for Lucas. Lucas looked up at me with big sad eyes... "Nana, I don't want a kitty cone I want a doggie cone."

HUGH Miracles in a Scarry Time

Many of you already heard that Spenser had a Grand-Mal Seizure Friday Night. It is the first (and hopefully the only one) he had He is doing well. Really scarred but good.

The miracles. My business wrapped up early Friday afternoon and I was able to get an earlier flight home. Ed was busy so I asked Spenser to pick me up. He got off of work early and picked me up and took me home. Then he decided to wash his car. That's when the seizure hit. He pedalled backwards and landed in the grass instead of on the cement... AND if he hadn't picked me up and left work early... he would have been driving on the freeway at that time.

Our Heavenly Father was sure watching out for him! We appreciate all the calls and prayers you've sent! May God Bless Each and Every One of You!

News from Karen

I'm so excited... I just can't hide it... I'm about to loose control... and I think I like it...

Okay... I've been singing this song for a couple of weeks now. As many of you know I'm the proud owner/president of three companies: Next Step International, Inc. - where I do public speaking and training seminars, Loving Legacies - where we do broadcast quality DVD recordings of peoples personal and family histories, AND Training C.O.G.S. (COGS stands for Closers, Openers, Games, & Setup) a company inspired by trainers for trainers... we have a free e-Newsletter, do seminars and have several training DVDs out...

Well: for Training COGS, Rockhurst University/National Seminars Group, have decided to offer our DVDs as a back of the room sales item for their seminars. This gives us National exposure and a little extra (and I mean very little) cash! They only carry a select few items that are not produced by them... and now we are one of that select few!

Welcome

Okay... My Brother Dee finally convinced me to start a blog page. It may take a few days (weeks) to get it really up and running but thanks for visiting anyway.
